David is awarded an NSF LEAPS-MPS grant

Dr. David Cereceda has been awarded a two-year, $250K National Science Foundation grant. Titled “Unraveling the Surface Effects on Tungsten-Based Plasma-Facing Materials Through First-Principles Calculations”, the project focuses on investigating the surface effects on fusion plasma-facing materials through first-principles calculations.
